Scattered around the province’s campgrounds you might see some unusual buildings. We spotted them a few years ago and have booked a Yurt for a weekend every year since! My boys start asking when we are going back almost as soon as we get home.
The Yurt is a large fabric sided, furnished domed shelter that sleeps five. Inside you will find a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom, a futon (pulls out to a double bed), a table with four chairs and a dresser. Each one we’ve stayed in had a fan and a heater for those chilly nights.
You will need to bring all your other camping supplies including a camp stove and bedding. And if you are like us, you will bring a DVD player and the kids’ toy projector and have fireside movies at night!
