We are so lucky to live close to so many nice beaches and have access to wading pools, spray pads and mini water parks! A lot of new spray pads have been built or are being built in the City with fun features, including a buckets that dumps water on you.
Here are a few places you can cool off this summer!
Wading pools and Outdoor pools
Winnipeg is full of them and some of the outdoor pools are free this year! Check out this post to find out which one is closest to you. You have to plan ahead and get there early if you want to spend the day at Kildonan Park, St. Vital Pool, Dakota Park or the Transcona Aquatic Park!
Provincial Park Beaches
You will need a Park Pass (season or day pass) to visit these beaches, with the exception of Winnipeg Beach because the beach is in town!
Waterslides and Water Parks
These Parks range in size from small City/Town run facilities all the way to large commercial water parks, you will find one that is the perfect size for your family!
I am sure there are some beaches and water parks I missed, leave a comment and I will update my list! What is your favourite way to cool off your kids in hot weather?
